HIGH IDLE Problems

Hello All.
I have had my RIII 2 years and 3 months now! I am having an issue that is starting to drive me crazy. Crazy like having to listen to nails on a chalk-board over and over.
My bike makes this REALLY loud engine chirping noise only between 1100 and 1200 rpms. This noise is VERY loud, it always has been loud and it always has been there from day one. The noise is like the loud noise you might ocasionally get from your cars V belts or serpentine belt if water gets on them. Anyway it didn't used to be a problem a year ago because my idle always was at 1000 or lower, but this new crap tune I got keeps holding my idle at you guessed it.....1150 rpms...AAARRGGG!!! The only way I can alter this idle speed is just before I come to a stop is to switch off the bike for 1 second and back on while in gear. This seems to let the bike fall back to below 1000 rpms for about 2-3 minutes.
I can't afford the tune-boy right now, and I don't want to go back to my local dealer for anything.
So does anyone have any suggestions on how to adjust my idle manually down 150 rpms to 1000?

I'm guessing that when they loaded the tune, they did not reset adaptives and didn't reset the ISCV.

At first I used to do this to get the idle back down! Problem was it only worked 25% of the time. The "turn off and back on" trick works about 90% of the time. I have tried the "12 min" tune to no avail.
Oh, by the way people, I understand the 12 min tune should be started with engine cold and run until the fan cycles on, but my BIG question is that after the 12 minutes has been exceeded, should I turn the bike OFF and then re-start. Or should I just keep it running afterwards, an go riding as if I never did the 12 min tune. I honestly don't know what would be best. I have never felt any engine difference doing the self tune....ever.

Your ISCV needs to be calibrated or you have a crap TPS.

Your stepper could be crapped out too.

I used to have the problem but ever since I replaced my TPS, it's been fine. Yours could just be out of whack.

As for the 12-minute, it doesn't matter, you can hop on and ride away if you want.

Out of habit, I've keyed it off and then back on again.

Secondary TPS was mines problem just wait soon she will all of a sudden idle at 3K you'll have to use the brake to keep her at 55 mph.
it took 25 K for mine to wear out but I heard others went faster.
After The dealer changed it I have had know problems.
I know of someone who shimmed his thinking it was wearing out do to only one screw mount binding it up He has not had the problem since and I know he went through 3 or 4 of them till he shimmed it.
