HID Headlight

no worries it just looks like for what I have its 100$ per bulb or so as each light would require a ballast and an igniter. I should not be an issue to hide the components

I installed the Aux light set and these work out pretty well. I might be better off going with a better bulb in the Aux lights since I run these all the time anyways. Cant be too safe. But for now I want to light up the rear end. I think the one brake light and plate light arent enough for a cage to see when moving fast until its too late.

For the tail, it's hard to beat that bulb from NewR3.com. I may eventually add some hyperlites to the underside of my boxes but we'll see. My next problem is the front light. I added the silverstars and that is better than stock but not good enough for me. I'd like the highway lights but $350 is more than I can dump right now with our racing season starting up again.

Are you talking about the self modulating bulb?

I have an update the stock headlight assembly is plastic until yesterday I did not notice that it was, well as a result the area right above the bulb became burnt in it was not burnt as in a fire burn rather it left a halo on the mirrored surface at the top. I am picky about details so I could not let that stay I went ahead leaving the connections in place minus the bulb and replaced the housing for the light with a after market one I picked up last year from the auto parts store and yes a 7in headlamp will work easy this one is glass and metal and I believe when I purchased it that it was about 20$ I put it in there to just buy some time before I would get one made for a bike but since it works I think I will keep it in there.

Point is that if you want to go hid make sure its a glass and metal housing I will go back to the hid just not today . it has its pros and cons
