Hick up! - then stranded

Can't get screws??? Any hardware store. M6. Can't remember if I used the M6 nuts or stuck with the old ones, but you shouldn't have any trouble getting some that fit. And of course check the length you need.

there are many options out there for fuse blocks, (some examples below) but they always seemed too bulky for my needs.

I have 3 bikes with various powered accessories and I cobble the leads into one main lead that goes on the battery terminal. The rest are spliced off that lead and each line has a separate in-line fuse.
