I climbed Lassen Peak with my son many years ago. Great view up at the top. I live in the Boise Idaho area and I purchased my Rocket from Freedom Cycle in Reno. They are a great dealer.

Seems like Forklift isn't the only one needing some remedial reading comprehension education!:roll:

If you looked at the web sight you just have to put in your Zip Code. Looks like we got off on the wrong foot here. You'll need to ask around Lassen hopefully someone in your area can point you in the right direction..

I agree with @TRIIICK and was surprised at the posted acrimony enough to re-read the entire thread.
I do not understand how ANYTHING written on forum by all of us unprofessional writers can EVER be taken literally without verifying the exact intent of the writer.
Most of us SHOULD understand the severe limits to conversing on line with NO audial and NO visual components.
"Can't we all just get along?"

Thank you so much for info on the dealer in Reno. That is the info I was looking to find out. Quality dealer was the key here.
The Lassen peak climb is great, check out the cinder cone trail in Lassen Park.
I am into the hill climbing back east and checked out your climb at the Big Nasty. Different but cool.

I already knew where the dealers were located just needed some first hand accounts of service before making an 8 hour round trip, excluding the service time.

Done the Nasty several times - nothing like a nitro motor accelerating up a 60° 500+ foot slope!

Check out Poags Hole in Dansville NY. Seen the Peterson boys there along with Harold Waddell and the Beers boys.

Have ya done 299 west from Redding to 3 thrpugh Haystack then south to 36 and west out to Fortune?
A GREAT ride and one of my top five.

Yes, rode all the major roads up here, exploring some of the back roads. 299 from Redding to the coast along the Trinity is my fav.

299 is a good road, but 36 is WAY better, IMHO.
Seen the Petersons and Waddell every time I was at the BIg Nasty.
Coincidentally, I be wearing my tattered old Big Nasty T today.
