Hi all. I’ve searched through the forums and found many of you do not like heel shifters on your Rockets. I’d love to get my hands on a kit to convert my shifter to heel-toe, but the Rivco is unavailable and I’m having no luck elsewhere. How different is the Cruiser’s vs. the Roadster‘s shift mechanisms?

Any advise would be much appreciated.

I converted my 05 standard to a Classic with the heel-toe and footboards. The standard of first gear down and the rest up changes to all gears down. The down strokes with the heel makes you go up the gears and then tow down to row back the other direction. It takes a little getting used to since you don't put your left toe under the shift lever. I will say shifts are more positive since your heel applies alot more pressure on the shift lever than your toe does lifting it. Finding a set to fit a Roadster is a whole other problem.
