I drove in/around Mexico for 14 years every winter for 6 to 8 weeks.
Seriously wrassled about taking my motor down there, but the very small part of my brain still containing sense, said no way.
Watch out for those unmarked topas across the roadways. I've hit a few at 50 - 60 mph and they would be a disaster on a motor.
I would never ride at night.

Screw the tickets - these days I'd be more worried about a bored druggie or drug smuggler looking for a little target practice. There is a reason those metal bar door and window security companies do so well on homes down there, especially close to the border. Stay safe!
