Head bolts

Has anyone reused head bolts with ill effects?:?: Takes weeks to get parts and I want to be up for AZ bike week. Finished tear down for trans update but wanted to check valve guides. Been waiting two weeks for damper shaft bearing that was left out of the update kit.:x

According to Bob Carpenter, they can only be torqued down twice. He does offer replacements:

I still use the bigger/higher tensile bolts I bought locally a few years ago,
head has been off quite a few times since then trying different cam profiles.
