I know I will love the new 2020 gt I should pick up tomorrow, but loved this vtx the short time I had it. Beautiful! Took a couple of pics for posterity.

If at all possible I would suggest that you keep the VTX as a backup bike, I still regret selling my VTX back in 2005 when I bought my first Rocket.
I would have had I had the funds, space. Only way I think I would regret is if I don't like the Rock as much. Power, handling, features, I think I made the right choice. Thanks man!

Way I view it is with the new bike the vtx would be sitting. And theres nothing worse than a beautiful bike sitting. Sell it and someone else can keep the tires rolling

Yes I too reheat selling my Vtx 1800 would been great to have as a second bike .

I have had my new r3 for 1.5 days now, and do not regret trading the x in!! This bike is sooo superior in every way except for the huge amount of chrome requiring cleaning which I don't mind not having!!

The last bike into the stable was the Rocket. The Beemer is on the market - beautiful bike but I just can't get comfortable on it. The GS has sentimental value (owned for many years since almost new, had a break of ownership for about five years and bought it back!) I've got it stripped down at the moment (to do the valves, carb overhaul, ceramic coating of the exhaust and other cosmetic work) to bring it back up to a decent riding condition. The Bully I just love because it's easy to chuck around, comfortable and a different ride than the Rocket. Did thousands of k's on that two up with she who must be obeyed on the back. When the GS is ready, I'll let the Bully go I think. Choices, choices but the $ add up for insurance, rego, maintenance etc so it's time to get down to the sentimental one and the forever bike soon! Sad to see them go when there's an attachment for sure. Seems like you've gotten over the affair pretty quickly though! :)
