******Handlebar Vibration...Resonance Above 65 MPH******

Only had my 09 Classic a few days and had exactly the same problem. The handlebar position wasn't to my liking and so twisted them backwards as far as they would go and still clear the tank by 8mm on full lock. Riding position now much more comfortable and wrist ache and finger 'pins and needles' have gone.

The bars are different on the Classic but give it a try, it worked for me ;).

A mate of mine filled his bars with sand. Swore it solved the vibration problem and may be worth a try before you spend out on something else

I have exacty the same problem, at 100-105 all good, at 120 ( 3000 rpm )and above bar vibration causes both my hands to go numb where they feel like 2 lumps of clay at the end of my arms , it's not a wheel balance vib , more something to do with engine harmonics at a guess. Next logical step would be to ride it in 4th at 3000 rpm to see if that causes it as well.

I had some in my 06 . Solved it by putting in small lead shot. It is a very old trick , but it works. Go to any gun store and you can but the birdshot for reloading. One other thing. I use the gloves with gel pads in the palms. I believe Olympia gloves is the only ones that make them.

If the tyre balance checked out start checking the steering head bearings, the engine mounts and work your way round even the rear wheel can cause front end vib's. It is not normal !!!

FYI - In search of a recent front fork noise, I did find my steer head bearings lose and in need of adjustment. That didn't solve my issue; but, it needed to be done and may help you if you check it out.

Great point on the steering head bearings. In my experience the factories will coat them with a lick a promise. Not that big of a job. You will be surprised at how much better the bike handles with properly paced bearings and adjustments. Look up high speed wobble. Years ago I had one , pulled out of it but learned my lesson.
