Handlebar risers

Swapped over to Rivco risers the other day , didn't even remove the grips or even undo the switchblocks ... took less than 30 minutes.

Just a note for anybody putting the Rivco Riser's on the later model STD/Classic and Roadster bikes is that the tongue on the tank will catch on the upper clamp and bracket holding the speedo/tacho and the Handle Bars but if you get the 04/05 model Upper Clamp (about $50) which is hinged so the speedo/tacho swing up leaving the handle bars in place you even still use the same bracket holding the speedo/tacho and you don't have to undo the bars, you simply undo two small hexhead bolts (which dont come with clamp, I bought Stainless Steel button head hex drive for mine but cup hex heads are better) and swing it up to allow tank to go up and past. the Earlier Clamp in my opinion is a better looking clamp too not having that pissy looking plastic infill
I hope this info will Avoid the frustration for others that first I experience after I first fitted mine and realised that Rivco had designed the Risers for the Earlier Model STD and Classic Rockets top bar clamp/brackets

my 07 has gauge mounting held on with two bolts covered with a small chrome cover in the center of the riser handlebar saddle did they change it later on
also I had to take my clutch cable lose and my throttle cables and run them back through the triple tree so they were on the back side of it everything else worked great

no you have the later one I have just edited post you need the 04/05 clamp and you should not have had to move cables behind triple clamp as you run the risk of damaging cables causing kinks and binding by just rerouting in behind the the metal rod frame that sit behind the lights wil allow enought freeplay in cables or can use the slightly longer Classic cables (1/2 inch longer) and if you have done a few thousand Km/Miles it is not a bad idea to replace them anyway (good preventive maintance)

Hanso is right when adding the rivco risers to you Rocket it make it hard to lift the tank due to the gauges being moved forward. I was going to try to modify Gracies cockpit to except the older style mounts. ANyway after opening the Cockpit I decided it would be to much to modify the cockpit due to Gary's electrical engineering and fitt so much stuff in small places. SO if anyone out there is adding the Rivco Riseres especially TRath which I will send a e-mail to and give the first shot at because he bought a new set of ridersoff me, Wants them I will gladly sell them for the NCY discounted price I got plus shipping, Pictures are below so you can see you just remove two screws and the whole gauge cluster tilts/swivels forward towards the lights to give clearance for the gas tank to open.

Now all you fellers that have 06 and newer bikes know how you have to be carfule when lifting the tank with the newer style mounts. This will eliminate that also. I for the life of me cannot figure out whya Triumph changed to the newer style mount as this seemd to be better in my opinion.

Anyway just let me know. They have never been installed on a bike and are bran new, Which is why you do not see me lowering the orice, I will not be charging the shipping to me just what ever it coast tho ship to you,

INcase prices are not clear
handle bar clamp assembly 73.71 USD
two M5 screws to keep clpm closed 4.38 USD
4 M8 X 30mm bolts to clamp bars down ( bought them incase the lengths were different. 11.72 USD

If no one wants them then I will just have extra parts on my wall eventually being able to build a complete Rocket

It was triumph trying to save two cents
It is so much classier with the old mount
I saved mine off my 05 when it's life came to an end and was the first thing I put on my 08 well along with the risers
