Have a 2005 .I have put the Rico riser and it helped the arm extension decrease. So I felt less fatigued on long rides. The reach to the far grip in a full turn was better also, but still a reach that should be shorter.I was wondering if the newer Rockets have their bars pulled back further? I am 5 ft 11 and have not noticed this on my America or various different bikes I have ridden in the past.

The R3T bars are definitely longer. I have a set that is brand new if you want to buy them, I will sell them to you for a great price. PM me if you are interested.

I am pretty sure that you will need to lengthen the cables. You could get a set for a R3T, and I am sure they would fit. PM me, and we can figure out a price.

07 was the first year of the Classic pull back bars so all Classic in 07 and up came with them stock. when I bought the bars from Triumph for my 06 the kit came with the longer cables in it. I di not need them but will be installing them this winter when I add a steering dampener. I am 5' 10" and found the Classic pull back bars to fit me well without the rivco risors. If you plan on Keeping them then you will definetly need the longer cables.

Don't like the wrist angle position on the classic bars... if in doubt borrow someones bike & test them out.( or at least sit on one & see what I mean.
