Ya lightweight

290lbs, mostly solo.

I've had stock, Std length Prog 440 HD springs, 11.5" Prog 440 std springs, Hagon Nitros and about to fit 13" Prog 440s.

Std are ****e, all the others are much better and there isn't a great deal of difference between them. Finally gone to 13" Prog 440s for quicker steering and more ground clearance, and they're all black, which Hagon don't do.

440HDs 13inchers - on both of mine. I would have gone with Hagons as they seem to offer excellent after sales service, but they dont do a true totally black shock - and Progressive does. I will be upgrading my *new* ;) bikes shock to a Hagon when its due. The P440HDs are excellent in both solo and 2up. Billy tested some seriously heavy duty custom built Hagon Nitros a while back and rated them highly. Actually, Billy normally responds to these questions, but since he went through the change he is now more in love with his MX5 than his Rocket - unless he got that GSA and is - as they call it - doing a Ewan - at the moment.

**** but nitros look sexy. But I'm saving for a set of Fournales. Zose norti froggies.

Alan's got a set and loves them. He went through every shock and that's the only one which solved his aching back.

I got nitors with stainless springs but agree they would look better in black. Hagon do nitros with black coated heavy duty springs but they aren't stainless steel. Was thinking of getting mine powder coated.
