That video really does make the Rocket size look 'normal'. It's seems low slung and with straight lines that makes it look long and sleek.. It doesn't have that distinctive big ass gas tank or bulky look. It looks like the 2018 Rockets little brother that has been on Jenny Craig for a year. Still looks aggressive and I'm still geeked up about riding one.
The chap from Triumph is 4ft 6in in the video:confused:

What is so small?
Aren't the wheel bases about the same?
I can honestly say - and I've ridden one for an afternoon - they are lower, when you sit on one the rear wheel seems closer ( due to no rear mudguard) They are or seem more cramped - but this is my opinion. I do however like the GT. Being as the tank is smaller - it does not feel so imposing - try one when you can.

I'm not love with that rear in either.
I like I like that my roadster has the capability of putting on panniers and a rear fender bag for making long cross country trips. In 5 minutes or less I can have it back to be at a street monster.
Depending on lean angle comparison, being lower is a good thing for the guy with a 29" inseem, like yours truly.

They are doing a full pannier set for the GT..

Again with the 40KG lighter! if we want a sports bike that drifts around in the wind on the highway get a speed triple. It will handle better and be easier to move around when in neutral.

I actually like having a heavy planted bike. I also have a 1997 fireblade for days when I want to road race.
one thing I noticed with my R3 Classic is that its a lot easier to move around than the Pan European I had.

for me the cruiser/muscle bike is about presence and comfort on long journeys. If I want to be quick I jump on the Blade.

Ditto !

I think it is an optical impression that the bike is smaller. I am sure the truly smaller fuel tank is part of the reason it appears smaller.

Hows that "blade" for riding cross country to the twisties?
