Got my H4 relay kit (the new version with longer leads) from Eastern Beaver today. Before I install...just how easy is this relay to actually install? On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being very simple with little tech knowledge/experience needed, and 10 being very difficult....where does this install fall for a guy with an average technical and tinkering ability? I've looked at the instructions..does not seem to be too difficult...but I want to hear from those who have actually installed it. Thanks!

It is pretty easy. I would say a 3 out 10 if that. The hardest part is getting the wires out of the headlight bucket and getting the little rubber grommet off the original harness to put back on the new harness. I did it in about an hour and a half.

How hard is it to raise the tank?

Of its hard after you take both screws out of the gauges and tilt them foward you still havento worry about getting that last bolt out at the front of the tank and tilting up the tank on its hinge. But after that its easy just use the hood prop supplies to you. It on the right side on the frame clipped into place. But remember don't overwork yourself with the three bolts you have to take out.:D
