Well Kuryakyn told be me to buy a new one...so they can go f*** themselves. Not sure how enthusiastic I'll be to purchase anything from them in the future.
@Mittzy@HansO Would either of your solutions have any concerns about cold weather (like close to or just below freezing)?
I was riding into to work this morning and noticed my throttle response was a bit wonky. Turns out my Kuryakyn ISO grip had come loose from the internal cylinder (this was the set that came with the internal cylinder attached from the factory, not my reusing the original). I was able to remove it real quick and get into work safely. I was wondering if any of you had any advise on what adhesive I should use to repair the grip?
You could use my old trick I used when I was a kid.....wrap a single layer wrap of "friction" tape on the tube, put a little gasoline on the surface of the tape and slide the grip on over the slimy tape. When it dries your stuck. If it's really loose you might have to do a double layer wrap.
