Great detailing polish...

My bikes are not that old, 2010 Harley fatboy 85,000 miles and a 2015 Rocket X 16,000 miles. Yes it sounds like fun. Might just do that. Just to see how the better half lives.
YOUR a ridin maniac thats good nothin wrong with that I dont do those long all day 900 mile days any more to many aches and pains I try to relax and enjoy the rides

I'm with you on this. The pledge may lift the dirt, but it's still in the rag you're continuing to rub around on the finish of the bike. When I'm dealing with a light coat of fine dust I still prefer to wipe it off with a single light stoke of a wet rag...rinsing out the rag often enough to not rub crap into the finish. If the bike is more heavily covered I rinse it off, wash it with a little car wash and blow it dry with an electric leaf blower before wiping it down with the polish of my choice. Working with a clean surface rather than rubbing around a rag with the grit in it just makes more sense to me. There is a big difference between house dust and road dust/brake dust that accumulates on your bike.

I do not ride 900 miles a day. I do use my bikes every day for transportation. Ride about 150 miles a day back and forth to work. Got a 2013 fiat abarth we use for the bad weather but only have about 15,000 miles on it. That is saying a lot considering that we live in OKLAHOMA. I just love riding . Been doing it since I was 17 teen years old. First bike was a RD 350. Bought it and road home from Marine Corps boot camp to my parents house. Now my dad asks me many of bikes later and a lot of miles later, " How are you going to top the Rocket" First bike he ever liked. All I can say is say No clue. Yes at 57 I hurt at times especially when it drops down to 20 degrees but some how we still ride.

HEY do whatever you like you can spend all day polishing if you like Being a motorcyle dealer we had to polish thousands of bikes over the years we found PLEDGE was the best polish we ever used to keep the bikes clean and shining and we still use it . You can do whatever you like and use whatever you want and if you find something better then Ill use that I think Ive tried just about everything and you know they sell some really expensive stuff so knock yourself out I even use pledge on my car and truck wheels and tires after a wash Just spray it on and dont wipe it off just drive a way and it will spread over the surface of the wheels and tires and gives you a nice shiny finish no need to polish anything

This is a really great product for quick cleaning. I have used this cleaner/polish since the 1980s it used to be called Honda Clean, now Bike Spirits. Cleans shines and protects from dust and finger prints. I wash my bikes, blow dry using compressed air, carnuba wax bimonthly, Bike Spirits in between weekly washing. With the wax and Bike Spirits I can just blow the dust off most times. If I don't encounter rain I can go a month without washing it. Just blow off, apply Bike Spirits. Some are saying it stays wet. Only if you apply it incorrectly. Spray a thin layer all over surface, wipe to spread product & remove dirt/stains, allow to dry, buff to a stain proof shine using a different clean cloth. Here's my 1994 Magna " The Road Runner". Always used lots of water, no corrosion or rust so far
