Good mount for Garmin GPS

Anyone found a ram mount ball that screws into a central place, where the speedo/rev counter mounts on top of the bars maybe? I want to mount the garmin GPS behind my screen (One of Chris's screens so plenty of room behind it)

I have seen the ram mount balls that screw into an M10 thread but nothing small enough for those M6? bolts that hold the clocks...

Can anyone share any insight?

This site has everything at the best prices - IMHO.
RAM Mount | GPS Mount | Vehicle Laptop Mount | Tablet Mount @ Express Mounts

What I got works awesome. Not shiny chrome like TRIIICK; but, functional as hell. Seems like it was about $30.

For the record both Tech and Ram are great funtional mounts. My Garmin 550 came with two Ram mounts one for the bike the other for the cage. It was just personal preference on my part i liked the way it TM blended in to the handle bars. The mounting bracket/ u-bolt on the Ram mount didn't cut it for me it looked a little mickey mouse-ish...

Try this one http://www.rammount.com/CatalogResu...d/082065077045066045051054055085/Default.aspx

It is set up with M8 bolts, but you should be able to substitute M6. The ball has a hole through it so all I did was replace the bolt in the gauges with a longer one. I also had to cut the bottom of it off a little bit so that the clamp would have enough room to garb the mounting ball.

I'm looking for a good mount that will fit directly behind the triumph fly screen. Does anything like that exist? If not I'd try design one but need to use a metal lathe. Just need a 17mm ball attached to a long rod that screws into a little area under the gauges.

Nice one, thanks! I did wonder if there was something like that, not sure how I missed it!

Should make for a nice and tidy job :)

See above ;) With a little effort it will fit replacing the front bolt for the gauge mounts
