I got a call from one of the operators at one of our remote terminals last week.
He said Jim why does the fire alarm at the wharf keep going off?
My first question to him was is there a fire?
He hesitated and said sh*t let me go check!
Turns out there was no fire it was just a circuit breaker that had tripped causing the failsafe circuit to alarm.![]()

Had the same thing happen on mine (2012) reading 1/2 full when toped up, light on with 1/2 tank left, took it back to the dealer and did my nut at them, They fixed it, as others have said, they bent the rod during install. On a side note with all the ****ed up during service I reckon it cost them more to rectify than what it cost me for the service............Took the rocket to the shop to have the fuel filter replaced and now fuel light stays on, took it back , they took the tankl back off and messed with it some more, light still on, left it there, will see what they find but not too confident since last time they left the brake calipers loose and @warp9.9 had to Mcgiver it on the side of the road, any ideas of what they did wrong? they said they did not bend the fuel pick up at all.
Thanks!!
