No tail light or licence light

I recently purchased a 2007 rocket 3 roadster. The tail light and licence plate are not working. The brake light works, and when I turn the key to park, the tail light comes on.Any help. Thanks

The 12V source for the taillight and plate light come from a different place in Park than it does w/ the ignition in run.
Does the license plate light work in Park as well?
That would rule out the 12V feed wire to the tail section for those lights and the bulbs/housing.
Does the backlighting work on your clocks?

Being an '07 have you looked at your ignition switch?

Lol I just found a bad 5amp fuse. Problem solved. I should learn to try the easy stuff first. Thanks
