Hi.
Bought a cheap 2004 rocket3 with a badly damaged tank. Hard to find one in good money.
Question I have are the tanks from different models /apart from touring with the console/ interchangeable? The tank I have will fit 2004-2009 BUT can I also get a 2011 tank and will it fit my bike? This would certainly greatly enrich the searching grounds.
Unfortunately the tank I have is damaged beyond repair.

They list the tank from 2004-2007 on eBay. Not sure if that's bulletproof info though. But if it went on other years, and they could increase their sales chances, maybe they would? but then again, there's one listed from 2004-2009 so who knows. 2004-2007 Triumph rocket 3 gas tank fuel tank | eBay

Thanks. I need solid info from someone who tried this.
Shopping in USA or UK is a nono due to duties and tax - not for my el cheapo ass.

If you know any truckers who come to Glasgow area in Scotland i have a repairable tank for 04 ,got a dent on left side . you can have it for free .
