Had problem's lately, hard starting, shutting down while riding and starting right back up, finally stranded at girlfriends house, slept on the couch was going to pickup with trailer next day. Ran out in morning, got jumping cable's, either and WD-40, Had a test tight. Sprayed either in air box, started and died when stopped either, checked no power at fuel pump, read on hear what relays to switch, a little confusing between model's, I think roadster has 4 relay's under left panel, mine had 3, figured it was the first, left to right, and switched 1 and 3, and it fired right up. Just in case anyone has starting problems, could be relay on the way out, was intermittent, I'm going to carry extra one's now.
Anyone know if these will work

I have to check out the old relays, the one I took out is not stock, but the circuit shows a resistor or something for the circuit on both sides of the coil actuator, I didn't see it in the wiring diagram.
Also I see #15 "change over relay" is that a replacement for #16 EFI relay, confusing.
Thanks for any help??? Hope this post helps someone too. Gl

Touring relays
Cool thanks Frazier, at least I know I don't have a fan right now. I used it for the pump, I just realized you have an 08 r3t too, cool can you take a photo of the other side and point out what the relay's? I know there's at least one, thanks man, anything I should know about the 08, I just bought mine last year, 46,000 miles now, I guess I can read your posts and learn myself 😁. Good thing I didn't let it sit there running without a fan, hehehe, good thing no traffic that day too 😁
Does anyone know the difference between #15 relay change over, and #16 relay EFI, witch I guess is, electronic fuel injection, and where it goes. Please see photos, The part's guy couldn't answer that, I thought it might be a replacement for the relays #16 EFI??
I looked what the diode is for, reverse flow into the ECU, and the resistor is on the coil actuator and for spikes. Sounds like a good idea 💡.
I ordered qty. 2- #16 and qty. 1- #15 just to see the difference, and see if it has a diode and resistor. Says I might get it Friday 🤞 thanks again Frazier, lots of good people on here 👍

Flasher relay is on exhaust side by itself. i have plenty oem if needed.
Hopefully I won't need anymore, but thank you very much, I ordered 3 yesterday, say's Friday delivery.
Yeah thanks for clearing that starter solenoid up, I looked all over for anything that said flasher, I wanted to ask where the starter solenoid was, thanks for the clarification. So I think that's a total of 4 relay's, so I thought the change over relay T2501705 is a replacement for relay T2502109.
But I see the change over relay is the starter relay, it show's 5 contacts/pins, and the others are 4 pin, but why call it change over???
Have a great time on those great looking bike's and fun 😊, this forum is great, all good guys, some fun joke's too!!!😁🥂

I would buy the right relay, I guess you are suggesting cut pin 87a I guess the middle pin and use for the 4 pin relays, if you do that the 5 pin relays have no resistors or diodes and spike's can get back to the ECU and fry it correct??
I'm getting qty. 8 - 4 pin relays on Amazon for $26 figured I could use in a pinch, about $3 a piece,

But they have no diodes or resistors, if I have some down time, going to check on getting some diodes and resistors and pigtails and blade's and add them in the pigtails 😁. I'll take the blown one apart and see what I need.
Thanks for the reply Turbo, hope all is getting better down there, what a shame, the school 😞
