Rear Metzler- Front rear Birdgstone tyre.
I don't know why but I have used 2 Metzler rear tyres and have travelled over 35,000 kilometres. I run a constant 45 psi in both front and rear, to compensate for my weight 137 Kg's.
I didn't like the handling of the Metzler front tyre no matter what pressure I ran in the tyre, the tyre wear was shocking, got good mile but even with a heap of tread left the front Metzler was unserviceable.
I know our rockets are heavy bikes 367 kg dry weight, with me on board around 500 kg. I just can't bring my self to believe the irregular tyre wear of the front Metzler is due to the camber of the road only.
Apparently there is a harder compound a constructed tyres by Metzler's ME888. I would like to know when will Australia get them or are we being used to get rid of the SH*T tyre compound.
After talking to the RDU boys on more than one occasion next tyre change will be Bridgestone rear, need more information before deciding front tyre.
