front forks.

catch up,
had the forks fitted with hyperpro springs, and oil, also fitted progressive 440,s on the rear.
couldent hammer it because of heavy rain, new tyres, galfer pads front and rear.
but what a differance, well worth it.

You will be grinning like a Cheshire cat on a dry road . Enjoy !

This is good to read. Just fitted a 140/75R17 Michelin Scorcher on front and a Bridgestone Exedra Max 240/55 on the rear. Big improvement in the handling. Have over 700 miles on this set up now and it is even a improvement over the standard size Avon's I had on the bike. Ordered 444's (heavy duty springs) and new springs for the front. Should be here around the first of Aug. Glad to hear a good report about the 444's. Was looking at the Wlibers shocks and had them ordered but canceled the order. The 444's look sharp and had a feeling that they would do just fine.

The Scorcher was a wild card. Turns out the tread pattern on the Exedra Max and the Scorcher are almost identical. Really worked out rather well.

Metzlers will do better'erish on ice. Stick like warm siht to a blanket. And over on the eastern bit of the atlantic tech 140/75 Metz is a Z rated cover.

roadster.
is there a drain plug at the bottom of the fork legs ??????

Actually there is a way to drain removing the dampner rod bolt that secures it to lower leg. I have drained many forks without a plug by removing it with an impact to assure the rod doesn't spin. Replace copper o-ring and reinstall bolt. Been successfully doing it for 50 years!

Sonny,
I now have a set in perfect condition (444 HD in 12.5 inch).
Only 10k miles on them and always set at the top (softest pre-load).
I have replaced with a set of standard 444.

@1olbull If Sonny does not want them Steve, I'll gladly take them. PM me a price if you like.
