Front Fender Rail and Fender Tip on R3 Touring

Has anyone installed these on their front fender on the R3T? There are seperate instructions for the Rail and the Fender Tip. My question is, does it matter which one you install first?

Had it reversed and had to rip the tips off and start over. Then to add insult to injury I drilled a 6 mm hole in my front tire while installing the rail!

Rail goes on first. Two holes have to be drilled into the front fender.
The fender tip is a crappy three piece plastic stick on mess.

I thought you had one on yours. I guess I should have just contacted you directly before forging ahead!

I am actually going to plug the tire to get it on my trailer in order to it to my local dealer to get a new tire. I wouldn't feel real secure running a plugged tire especially since it already has 6,000 miles on it.
