Foot peg pad fell off

Rode to Vegas just now, was 118F in the desert. Got off to gas up and noticed my left foot peg pad had fallen off somewhere on the freeway. Not even 6,000 mi on my '14 R3R yet. Maybe it was the heat?

Side note, some inattentive jackass drifted into me while I was legally lanesplitting (going 30 mph when traffic was going 5) and my brake lever took his side mirror clean off. Didn't bother the bike any or cause any damage. Engine temp warning flashed a couple times in the heat too but we made it, unlike the Goldwing that was overheated on the side of the road!

They are held in by two hex bolts, that should have had some Loctite on them.............

Shout out to Triumph of Las Vegas / Freedom Cycles. Stopped by today to get that pad replaced, they didn't have it on hand but stole one from a Thunderbird. Also fixed a couple other little things all under warranty. Friendly people, knowledgeable techs, great shop.
