Fog/Driving Light Bulb Replacement, how the bloody hell...

I have the factory fog/driving lights on my Rocket. 11-years later one bulb has begun giving me flat-line moments, so I want to replace it. It appears as though the hot wire is integral to the bulb, and, ultimately part of the fog/driving light wire harness? Any image of an H3 bulb shows a pigtail. Do I need to cut and splice in the new bulb?

I had to cut mine and splice it I have those same lights in my victory

If I read a long ago post from Barbagris, I will have to splice the pigtail of the new bulb into the existing wire harness. Farking Brits!
