I'm looking into getting Corbins fleetliner fairing does anyone know if I could still use my Triumph fog lights would it still fit?
I just have looked at so many Rockets that have this fairing and not one has the Triumph fog lighs has any one tried?
Just went out in the garage and looked at mine, I don't think it will work. The fog lights use Triumph's fixing kit to mount. The fairing goes down around the headlight further than you think.
If you are looking at the one I think you are that is a good deal. You could always sell the fog lights and go with some fork or caliper mounted lights like the motolights. As good as you are with carving, I bet you could whittle something up that would work.
Pig9r, I like my Triumph fog lights is there another kind of mounting kit that I could use and put them below my singnal lights?
How do you like the fleetlinner fairing? is it hard to get at the keys if I have all four gauges? Does it deflect the wind better then the Triumph windshield? Yes it is a good price Wingandaprayer told me about it.
Is there anything you don't like about it? I'm not sure if I want it if I can't use my Triumph fog lights
Lester everythings seems more funny with alcohol but it was funny even with out the alcohol my carving was getting rusty, ten years not touching a tool but its comming back, maybe I'll be better off carving me a fairing so I can shape it around my fog lights

I have to agree with the preference for the OEM Axillary Lights. They do cast a remarkable light on the subject. As a matter of fact, they cast light for more than 180 degrees and I can read SAE off to the sides of the roadway, behind the 180 mark.
If you have the 4 gauge set up, you are going to have to relocate the ignition switch. I have just the 2 main gauges and its a b_tch to get my arm up through there to operate the key. I've got to reinstall by relocation kit (I broke it doing some other wiring, not a defect in the kit).
Well thank you guys, it looks like I will not buy the fleetliner fairing because I do like my Triumph fog lights they really light up the road.
And I don't want to relocate my ignition switch I like where it is now.
Oh well perhaps Corbin will come out with some thing else or I might just carve one
Thanks
Pig9r, is is posible that your forearmes is really big? I'm just a small guy.
I just looked and it looks like I could use my Triumph kit there is enough wire to move my fog lights down past my singnal lights.
Now the question is me being a small guy would Istill have a hard time getting at my ignition having four gauges?
If there is any small guys out there that has a fleetliner fairing with the four gauges I would like to know if you had to relocate your ignition?
Pig9r, thanks for the pictures nice it does look tight.
But my guages look closer to my tank when I bought my Rocket the guy put on the rivco extenders on and that pulled back my hadle bars a lot.
I think thats what you call it But I wounder because my handle bars are pulled back further I would beable to reach over my gauges?
