First Ride

After two months with a new R3R in the garage, I finally got my first ride. The sun was out and even though my back-road is still full of grit, I took the Rocket for a spin. It felt good to get the cool wind in my face. I think my dealer only put a half gallon of gas in the tank so I eased my way to town for a fill-up. With a full tank, I was inspired to find a good stretch of road. This machine is fantastic and it's not even broke in!!! I've been on many high HP (at high rpm) machines but the torque on this thing AND the growl that it makes is incredible. I got home and told my wife that I was suffering from "T.I.S." Torque Induced Smile

Nothing 'rockets' quite like a Rocket... Good to hear the weather has improved and you can get out and enjoy your new bike

You should have also tried the other TIS - torque induced sex. That's if you didn't already have it on the ride.
