Final Drive Fill

I thought it was 6.1 quarts in the can? I just dump 6 quarts and call it good. havent had a problem since.

Now go shove it in the oil can and take another reading.........should be about right!;)

yea, I put 3 gallons in it and 14 gallons of gas.

I was going to post for some info on this as I had the same doubts that it was enough oil ,when I saw the similar threads below the posts all good ,happy now with the amount,

Do this and you will be facing a f*****g mess with overflow. I know...I did it!
 
Simple solution I use with all my shaft drive bikes. Change the final drive gear lube annually in May. DONE. It is only about 4 ounces after all.
