Fall '09- Rocket launch - Maggie Valley

Many of you have expressed interest in a fall visit to Maggie Valley. I would be happy to put together another trip if you would like. We would need to decide on a date and get an estimated head count in short order to ensure we have lodging as this is a very busy time of the year for the area. I will keep and eye on this thread once we have a date and an estimated count together I will start making plans. Please include any feedback you have that will make this trip more enjoyable.

My suggestion is call Gabbi.
I talked with her about this very thing and she said there was one week that was best for them, nothing scheduled, and they could offer lower rates then.

RAA IV - The Sequel

Talked with the holiday the dates they think would work best are:

September 25th - 28th

October 2nd - 5th

Lets pick a date, Get the head count started, provide feedback on the last trip and leave the rest to me.

she'll be on a hardly so I'll have to make a two day trip out it for sure.

Just FYI - Tom and I have been kicking around something in the midwest again this fall similar to RAA III.

Pig9r, sorry I did not realize you were looking at doing something in the Midwest this fall. I certainly don’t want to interfere; maybe we should put this one on hold and push everyone to the Midwest event. Whatever everyone decides count me in. I am also going to be in KC visiting relatives the 29th – 31st would love to hook up for a beer not sure I will have the bike with me but at least we could meet aand put faces with names.

Put Rainman and myself in for whenever....either weekend works for us as we are close anyway.Ime not sure we could do a midwest run as we have to go to NY the end of June but the MV we can definatly do.

No, don't put anything on hold, I am just throwin' it out there. I don't want to take anything away from those that want to go back. I would love to go to MV but at this point in my life I can't get away that long. So maybe some "regional" events would be in order?
