Does anyone make a fair for a Rocket.

Im so used to a fairing Im not sure I would be happy with a wind screen on a Rocket.

Seems to two headlight set up throws off the fairing manufacturers.

Would apprciate any info on this.

Thanks,
Ray

I'm rather tall and didn't like the windshield I got from Triumph, so I got a taller replacement from Ceebailey.com and I love it. It's tall enough that I have to look through it and keeps the buffeting off my head. It's thicker than the original with polished edges, they use the same plexiglass as their aircraft replacement windscreens.
I'll be having them make me up a set of side wind deflectors later on without the turn signal holes.

I can testify to the fact it withstands speeds up to 150 without deforming.

Alright!

Thanks, I like the 150mph comment. I was wondering what she would do. Do you have any special mods to get it to 150?

Thanks for the info on the windscreen.

I love my Corbin fairing but the price is daunting. Great quality but I thought I was going for a second mortgage to get it with the Beetle bags:eek:. Beetles can burn with stock exhaust:mad: and then it's calling California a hundred times and trying to negotiate with "dudes and dudettes" to get replacements and YOU will pay the shipping to return them:confused:.

I had to put stick on H-D heat shields on the second set. Stick on, freakin' stick on.............on my Rocket..............oh the humanity.

I'd bet they would all reach that speed with the speed limiter disabled. The limiter can be disabled with TuneBoy, TuneECM or a GiPro. I use the GiPro along with a PCIII, TOR's, Triple K&N's, secondaries removed and most importantly .... a good dyno tune.
It would probably take extra power from mods like that to push a tall windscreen up to that speed, but I think any R3 could do it without one.

ooooohh no, not stick-ons.

You will survive. You have too. She has the stick-ons on. You will have to push on for her. :D

Thanks for the bit of info.

What speed will she reach without the mod?

Is the mod going to effect the warranty?

My nine will hit 140 without the limiter disengaged and no performance mods except for K&N's, just saying, I love the R3 and I cant wait to get one.

I do want to know all her limits and short comings, it helps when you know what to expect.

Thanks

I think they are limited to 134 out of the box, I'll need someone to confirm that one.
And no, never had any issues with the dealer over the mods or add-ons. In fact the selling dealer is the one who did my dyno-tune after I installed all the crap.

Short-comings ..... well the one right off the tip top of my head is that they ride like a dump truck without changing the shocks and fork springs.
