if you trying to open a tune or a hex file? you have to have your tune ecu program unpacked from wizip or 7zip and installed. then you can view the tune through tune ecu or open it i should say. i thought the framework drivers were for the cable anyway get the program running on the laptop first then wory about the framework drivers and cable after that . i ran it with xp and my puter was up to date and i did not have to do a thing. so update it that may help.

I was having trouble getting a new map into the laptop. It was emailed to me from Power Tripp.
Its in now. Thanks to Dougl.
I have to download it into the ECU next weekend. Ran out of time today and I work 12 hours a day, all week.
I wanted to run the software on my desktop so I could compare the old map with the new but I cant figure out what to download for XP. I have to leave it for another time because I dont want to go to bed tonight angry, again.

That is part of the problem. I dont know how to unzip a file or attach it to a specific software for reading.
I really dont have computer skills.
