Hopefully, by the end of the upcoming weekend I will finally get my greasy mitts on a Rocket III. I think of myself as a Janner but I sound like an Essex boy and I now live in Florida. I have had bikes most of my life. I was a Hinckley 900 triple guy for a number of years with a Trophy and a glorious Thunderbird (the one I regret selling). Went Italian for a bit after a small break from bikes with a few Moto Guzzis. The wife loves riding pillion. She hates the Griso pillion and I refuse to put a backrest on it! The V7 is set up pretty well for us but a little under powered and cozy. My Enfield Continental is a single (uncomfortable) seat and at 29 horsey's never going anywhere near an interstate. I remember a Triumph demo day I attended in 2006 or so, where I first rode a Rocket III. I swore I'd have one after the experience. It's only taken me nearly 20 years. So wish me luck on Saturday. I'll post a picture of me on it looking like the Cheshire Cat of it works out.
