Nevermind, I found the answer in a diagram from an old @DEcosse post. @Claviger you were right about 2, and 1 is a check valve that prevents fuel from spilling out should the bike lay down.
Take the hose from the tank overflow cut it and stuff it in the large hose going down towards the ground and then ty wrap it. Disconnect the purge valve control and tape up the electrical connection. Ty wrap up out of the way. Cap off the the lines from the throttle bodies.
Would it be safe to remove the lines right at the TbS and plug the throttle bodies connection if so where can you get caps/plugs to fit---does auto zone or some place similar carry them?

Yes, and A well stocked auto supplier should have caps in all shapes and sizes, you can even get small kit with an assortment of sizes just make sure the are rated for fuel vapor not air or vacuum or they won't last long.
