Engine rebuild gone west
On a serious note...empathy....you are lucky to have found the issue before too much damage was done! My v6 diesel has just spun a big end bearing after identical symptoms to your bike..$11/12k rebuild

Its always funny when it someone else is what I say this time it's on me....welcome to the club Mr Hunt
 
Since it's found in this condition, I wouldn't take anything for granted. Give all parts and systems a through check. No telling what else could be screwed up.

You recall them times when you say to yourself it couldn't possibly get any worse but it does.. Amazing thailand
