Engine oil transferring into void

Unbelievable! On the older rockets they fitted oil seals the wrong way round now they forget to fit a seal at all? On a £21000 bike? Are production line workers under too much pressure or is it all hit and miss production? All basic mistakes.

You 2 can "check each others oil AS much as you 2 like" but i believe the OP has a 2.5 version rocket.....May be of a different species

mine is an 07 can check mine cold or hot running or not running on stand and off stand not much different

Started the day checking the oil, standard procedure, still 1/2 mark like last check. Tried to check it after riding, very hard to read to accurately give you a measure, a lot of oil in the stick. Looks like the 3 minute pause is indeed needed just to be able to read. Anyway, looks like mine came with no bluetooth, no quick shifter and now, no void.... maybe if I ask nicely I'll get this one for free from the dealer.
