engine management light "on"

I dropped the bolt the secures the front of the tank. It never hit the ground and I never found it. Looked and felt everywhere I could. Before that I'd dropped the nylon washer one time but found that a few days later just down the road while walking the dog. Hopefully the bolt fell out while riding although I didn't hear anything - not that I necessarily would.
