Hello all,
Going to purchase engine guards for my 2012 Roadster and needing to know
do they bolt right up to the bike with no issues.

Also, are there any windshield options more cost effective than Triumph that
gives good protection and is not huge either.

Thanks in advance.

Warp is right. The ones pictured are very bad. The top mounts are very weak and fold over at the slightest pressure. Even the pressure from your feet if you mount highway pegs as many of us do.

If you want Triumph guards you need the up-dated guards that have a steel knuckle at the top mount.

I have a set of Rivco Engine Guards available. They are considered and have proven to be good guards and work well should they be needed. Asking $230 Shipped Domestically.

I agree with the other folk don't buy that style of guards. They suck! The newer guards eleminate that weak top bracket.

Place jack under engine to hold while removing and replacing long engine mount bolt.

It is a little hairy getting the top bolt through. Sitting on the bike while someone jacks up the engine feels pretty weird. Once you hit the sweet spot, that monster bolt comes out quite easily

Just need to lift the engine slightly until the bolt slides easily. Don’t allow the engine or the bike to move until the long bolt is back in place through the new guard brackets. It’s easier than it sounds. Good luck.
