Elite 3's for R3T ?

Can't see a reason why it wouldn't be, but are you unhappy with the Metz? If so, why?

Just checking options. I've gone through 3 sets of Metzelers now. They wear out pretty quick, usually within 8k. I've considered the Avon Cobras as they are the only other brand that has both fronts and rears for the R3T.

I did look back at that listing, apparently there is no version for the front. My bad. Should have checked a little further.

Too bad they don't have a matching front. It would be great to have another option. I'm getting very good mileage out of the Metz, but I much prefer the handling characteristics of the Avon.

I've only had the Metz tires, with the exception hof the crappy oem tires. Handling is decent. I'd like to maybe try the Avons just to see if they last as long or better. I've read that they do handle better.

I like the Avons 2-1 over the Metz.

I don't know about any one else but my best tire out of ten has always been the Dunlop. I will be looking for them as soon as Velma needs them.
Hey Elvis, what part of Ky are you?
Kid

I don't know. I have over 12k on my metz and still have a little tread left and I am not easy on the tires. I don't over load the bike either. Usually ride solo with little luggage if any. May have something to do with it.

I have the E3s on my R3T. I posted something about mixing the two tire types in an earlier post. I was assured it was kosher and I've been loving them for over 5K miles.

I liked the Metz, but was only getting 8-10K miles out of the set. I expect 12-15K miles out of these Dunlops.
