Kimd of odd, but fine, small cabins, pretty basic, I can't remember if they had running water. Then I think they had kind of a main lodge, like a motel. Loose gravel internal roads is the only downside I remember.

Gravel and a bit south of the center area of Wythville. Not trying to be overly critical.

Did not see any issues with the little cabins, much better than Spyder Creek, then again, it was years ago, who knows, they may be worse than spyder creek now

9 1/2 hours for me, not bad, and I can always drop the wife off at my daughter's in Raleigh on the way, only 2 hours and 15 minutes from her house, didn't realize it was thst close. Has my vote.

I seem to remember (though I didn't stay there myself) the gang stayed here, I think...

I believe they stayed at the Fancy Gap Cabins. Here 202595 Blue Ridge Pkwy, Fancy Gap, VA 24328, I've seen pictures where we had breakfast and I did a little work on Lupe silver 05 Rocket it was a dark side set up. Joey Flecther and met up and road out together. We were ruffing it in the motel 6.
Now I really miss being able to ride even Paul trailer down with peg from Siberia. He lost a trailer fender at speed on the highway.
And Ogre you were on a little yeller Ducati Scrambler ?

This place looks interesting but might be a bit costly. Just FYI.

I was thinking about calling and asking if they would welcome a biker group? I will of course mention that our average age is close to 70 so we should not be to wild. Just a bunch of old geezers out for a meet and stroll.

the time they post on these is just a challenge, you can do quicker then that, we have LED signs on the highways here, that tell you, so much time to this exit, or that exit, they are just showing you the time to beat. we also have signs on some streets here that flash up and show you how fast you are going, that's the high score sign, we all try to get a high score, if you do, it starts flashing red and other lights start blinking, it's great, luckily they got rid of all the speed camera's here, though they did take a nice picture of you and your bike, they penalty that comes with it, eh not so nice.

I'm not sure where in Virginia everyone is referring so i just pinned at the bottom corner in Jonesville, not to bad of a trip, That 11 hour route is full of it, the 401 never moves at speed, way to much traffic, and no one wants to go to Detroit anyway, at least not voluntarily, but the 12 hour route down through Cleveland, yea, I can totally beat that time.

You are correct Scott, that is the first time i saw a Ducati Scrambler when @Ogre showed up on it, that bike made him look good , that was also the last time i saw Google, remember him?
