Eastern Beaver headlight kit question

I had read stuff about that 12 min tune before putting a tune on my bike so tested a few things out while TuneECU was hooked up.

It doesn't seem to matter if you touch the throttle during the tune.
It doesn't seem to matter if the fan turns on or not, and when.
It doesn't seem to matter how long the bike runs (idles) for.

The computer seems to behave exactly the same way regardless of duration of running or stimulation.

The way I've stated is the way not to interfere with any normal idling of the engine, I have also heard that you can also simply ride the bike for a nice run and not wait 12mins, you could try it the way that you think it works for you and see if you get the results that your looking for, within tune ecu I just reset adaptions, but this is directly from tune-ecu how to do the 12 min tune.
The 12 minutes tune:

  1. Ensure the transmission is in neutral.
  2. Ensure the ECM has no stored faults (DTCs).
  3. WITHOUT TOUCHING THE THROTTLE, start the engine and allow it to warm up to 90°C .
  4. Leave the engine to idle for a further 12 minutes. Now have fun.
