I finally found my bolts to put the hand guards on
While I was at it put the wind deflector on that I got from bedifferrent which is also a early present from stb
In my opinion they look good

Just an observation....They are flip flopped...on the wrong sides. The acorn nuts and locking set screws should be facing rearward. I intended to have the heads of all the button head screws facing forward for what I consider to be a cleaner and I think a stronger mount. You can run them that way I guess, but they should look like this picture when looking at them from the front. The throttle side is pictured. The wider part is up which is correct like you have them, just swap sides.

It is not a problem and I really need to make a point as to were you would be standing as you reference the comments I put on the deflector paper. MY BAD!
I usually mark them front or forward meaning that "face" is facing forward on the bike, on the left or right and up. For example.... If the deflector is marked forward, left, up....the face of that particular deflector would be facing forward or to the front of the bike as you are standing in front of the bike looking at the windshield. It would be put on your left side looking at the windshield from the front of the bike and the top would be up and not flipped upside down and backwards. It can be confusing if you don't think about standing in front of the bike facing the windshield, but if you reference the pictures on the instruction sheet I include you can see how I entended for them to be put on. Are you catching all this @Boog ?? Maybe it will help when you get yours. :D

I guess I need to take a class in technical writing. I am going to rethink my instruction sheet being sure to say the markings on the deflector are referenced from you standing in front of the bike looking at the windshield.:banghead::(

Did the same thing rainman. I also experimented with having the large side up.

And they work. Now if I can just find mine. Never mind. I won't be riding until spring anyway. Rats.
