I have had a PC5 on order for several months. My dealer says it keeps getting delayed. So I emailed dynojet and this is the reply:

The problem is on our end. The development of this unit is taking longer than expected. I do not have an estimated released date at this time.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,

Not very promising news. Hopefully things get sorted. I am afraid that they will drop the '09 Rocket (which would work on all model years) and develop one for the Roadster (which might not work).

Ya I have had two PCV's and two auto tune units (one set for Les aka TrirocketIII) ordered for three months now and am hearing the same thing.:(
Starting to think it is not worth the wait:(

Why not? I'd think it would be better to have Dynojet work out all the engineering with the PC5 rather than release a product that is not ready. YMMV.

I don't have a PC5,
but the DoBeck unit is on the fly adjustable and smaller
than the PC3 with no cd or canned tune to mess with.
Real simple to operate, its plug an play and comes ready to rocknroll.
Order one for a rocketIII, plug it into the throttlebodies and try it out.
It's about the same size as a creditcard. A little thicker, but about the same size.
The guy that invented the PowerCommander and sold it to DynoJet, is DoBeck.
He knows their unit pretty good and has a superior unit for sale at about 1/2 the cost.
Significant discount for veterans too.
At least I like it, and I'm having WAY better luck with it than the PC3.

I was afraid of that, seems it was intended for '10's and up in the first place. I'll bet the problem lies in the previous ECM software being compatable with the V.
Just my guess.

Did they say it was back-burner'd just for the R3 or has the whole PCV project fallen into despair?
Last I was told, it was full of more bugs than the Orkin man could handle, but that was months ago. :(
