drops out of 2nd gear and first gear by itself- WTF

My rocket has less than 10,000 miles and is a 2006 classic.

It has always been tough to find neutral and occasionally it would pop out of first gear.

Now under any power it pops out of both first gear and second gear.

ANY thoughts on the exact fix for this? What to tell my mechanic at MCC in Illinois.

Anyone go to MCC in illinois for this type of problem.

Sounds like your ready for the upgrade kit. Do a search on it. Triumph has been repairing this problem on most all bikes in and out of warranty.

Almost certainly needs the upgrade repair.. popping out of 2nd on power was the same symptom I had

My 06 has the same problem I called a dealer who contacted triumph and they told him if he can make it pop out they will take care of it. In the next week or so I will be taking it in for them to have a look see mean while take first to about 3 k and you won't need second just double shift by it. mine I can use second to 1800 without any torque and the shift to third.

May be worth a look.

before rebuilding the tranny the dealer wants to do some sort of ajustment first?
