From memory some of the heat shield mounts on the std header are clamp on's I would be checking them all and also make sure one of the heat shields are not a bit close to something and tapping together, but I would be checking the clamps under the heat shields first. I just thought when you used the triumph cat delete did you take the rubber bushes out of the cat and did find they were a bit hardened by the heat, they didn't falll apart did they... You don't have metal to metal under there any where

Good pick Hans yep bush was a bit crappy.
I will have a check under there you could be onto something..:)

True dat!!!:D

BTW, unless you're running on dirt roads, why bother with an underseat filter at all?

I pulled mine about 5K miles ago and haven't had any problems with that at all.

Impossible to say; all depends on your right wrist and what else you've done to the bike. On the one making it smoother and more responsive also means you're more likely to want to 'try it out' but also means you 'need' less. Assuming it's tuned correctly, mpg will depend mostly on how you ride.
