Reminds me of my teens. I had a 305 Superhawk and my best buddy had a 250 scambler with a 44 tooth rear sprocket. Gorgeous bike. Great job!

George,

Another top notch restoration, it looks first rate...........kudo's too you.

Do you find all these old Japanese bikes locally?

I hope you can make it to Maggie Valley

Best regards

Tony

Tony,

I bought three from the same guy. I still have one more to do. I am thinking stripped down café racer since I am finally running out of parts. I am not sure Maggie Valley is in the cards for this year due to a number of reasons, but looks like a great job of planning.

Looks better than new! Are those titty grips?

Dave,

Yep and thanks to all for the kind comments. I think a number of us on this site remember these bikes from our youthful days when "the hydraulics worked and nothing hurt".

Very nice job!

I had a '67 probably about 1972, and it was a bit used at the time. I can't remember the model # but it was a 250, not a 305. Even at that time those heat shields we impossible to find. Someone had liberated the ones on my bike before I bought it and I never did find the correct ones. I made some work from a later CL350 if I remember correctly. That bike replaced the dreaded 441 Victor that wanted to kill me......
