- 2010 Rocket III Roadster
Just became a proud owner of 2010 Rocket III Roadster. The bike came with ZARD full kit exhaust, but I just don't like the sound, sounds to me more like Hayabusa than old-school cruiser. Maybe I became addicted to Thunderbird rumble, don't know
Anyway, on youtube I found a clip with first gen Rocket (3 pipes) with cat-delete and factory TORs and I am amased. I want that exhaust on my bike! So my first choice would be finding factory 3-pipe TORs and modifying them to fit on Roadster, but given the fact they are next to impossible to find my reserve option would be to purchase stock 3 pipe system and modify it to get the closest to TOR that is possible. So I guess, as TORs and stock pipes are identical from the outside, the only difference is the restriction mufflers inside? If I dig out all the mufflers and insert a straigh perforated tube that should be kind of like TOR, am I right?
P.S.
I am aware that Roadster has stock 2 pipes but don't want that, 3 pipes look way sexier for my taste
