I realize this has been kick to death. But had mine completely cured until I installed those darn JARS. I had TORS with a custom mapped Power Commander. I now have JARS with a Power Commander. I upgraded my MAP to the recommended MAP from PC but, it has popping when down shifting. If I let the engine whine down in 5th gear there's hardly any popping but, if i down shift to raise the RPM to assist in braking I get a fair amount of popping. I'm thinking I need to manually adjust my PC III but, I'm not certain where to start. Any ideas? I'm guessing I should try increasing fuel at the low button but, when I do will it show on my lap top if I have it plugged in? I'm just not sure what box I need to change. I hate to have to spend $300 for a custom MAP. I'm planning a trip to Sturgis where I may find someone out there to adjust it but, I'd rather do it myself if possible.

Unfortunately, this is the best thing you could do. The performance of the PC map for Jardines depends on the underlying Triumph map in the ECU. Supposedly, the PC maps were generated on a "bone stock" R3. This means stock mufflers and catalytic converter with stuff in it. When they put the Jardines on it, the underlying tune is there and they create a PCIII trim map which adds fuel to what the base map is putting out. Do you know what Triumph tune is in your ECU? If it isn't the one PC used when they created the Jardine map, the Jardine map won't be optimal for your bike.

Make sure you have the revised O2 sensor bypass from PC. I have a Tuneboy tune which works pretty well with decel popping below 3000 rpm but when I close the throttle at 100 mph in 3rd or 4th, it pops quite a bit.

In the 0 column add 5 to each cell from 0 RPM to about 2200 RPM load it and ride it. If you need more add another 5 to those cells. Those with Jardines and triple K&Ns have to have 25 or so to quite the popping.

And as Doug said you want to make sure you have the same base tune. If you don't have the 20222 tune I would have your dealer load it.
