I like these for seeing well down the road, roos, moose, hogs, deer etc:

Thermal Imaging System – Model 9790
Even under ideal conditions, headlights only allow drivers to see about 450 feet straight ahead. Driver visibility is limited by the beam pattern of the headlights. It is also possible to outrun your headlights when driving at highway speeds. The Model 9790 provides you with the necessary visibility to see pedestrians and wildlife over 1,000 feet away and vehicles even further – giving you more time to react, and more room to stop.

has an inquiry been made into its cost?

You wouldn't really have to stare at the monitor. Just have it in a position to catch your attention if something pops up on it; shouldn't be too hard at night! Particularly if there are no headlights in your face!

... Also, if LED will they interfere with the McCruise or keyless ignition?

Definitely not Rick, will work fine with both of those features
Actually R3tex has them on his bike with both same options (the bike Hanso has been using the last couple of weeks)

Didn't you get that thing installed yet? :D

Incidentally props to forklift - those lamps are really nice - wish my budget stretched that far!
