Lets do a break down of this supposed bike, keep in mind, it's a "Diavel" competitor now according to Triumphs self perpetuated rumor mill:

Single Sided Swing Arm - Purely Cosmetic on most bikes, on the R3, because of rear wheel heft, this may be of some value. It will add unsprung weight, they always do....
Brakes: Look to be lifted from the Brembo stuff they already have for their other bikes, likely to survive budget analysis.
Fly Screen - Pay extra.
Tank Shape - Yeah, probably will survive, this is the single biggest reason the R3R polarizes people, the giant broad shouldered tank. This is also in line with their irrational "retro" concept.
Exhaust - IMHO looks like ass, guarantee it performs like ass, straight to the trash...
Radiator - Looks to be the same part, the interesting item is that ?oil cooler? sitting under it? Yes please.
Rear body and seat - no chance in hell it survives as in the photo. It's way way too short for many provincial laws, to have maximum market penetration the fender must extend to at least the rear most part of the tire.
Most importantly - The engine. Looks very similar, possibly the same cases with some machining done post painting to give it highlights. If rumor is to be believed, they claim 200hp, so 170 wheel... in 3-5th gears most likely.
Wheels and tires, the wheels appear to be the same diameter, hopefully 17"s as you know.... 17 IS THE **** STANDARD AND HAS BEEN FOR 2 DECADES.... ME880s mounted, get right ****ed.
Rear suspension is clearly not a dual shock, good move, though, having a single shock with all the mass involved here and torque, plus shaft effect, kind of concerns me a bit.
POTENTIAL - Well, based on the exhaust, I can tell you for sure the Cat is hidden under the biked. Remove cat, install turbo, life is good...

Overall - I appreciate Triumphs attempt at moving the R3 into a broader market segment, but I hate this look. The one, and I mean ONE think I would love to buy and put on my bike.... the tank.

At the end of the day, I will bet a small fortune this bike is no lighter than Mufasa is right now just based on what I can see and is very likely slightly heavier given the SSSA + Shaft drive, that's got to be a 100lb mechanism...

Wow, you sure gleen a lot from a single low res photo of a projected image. Keep in mind that the first release will be a super limited addition, special. The one for the masses will come later, if at all. Make of that what you will.
